Peer to Peer Learning Conference - Nairobi

The EAC will annually host two-day Regional Peer-to-Peer Learning Conferences under the public-private dialogue (PPD) approach. Peer to Peer Learning is a key tool and valuable approach where we can generate and disseminate knowledge and foster learning on various topics such as reform processes for sector development.

The 24th EAC MICRO SMALL & MEIDUM ENTERPRISES (MSMEs) TRADE FAIR

The 24th East African Community (EAC) Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Trade Fair will take place from October 26th to November 5th, 2024, in Juba, South Sudan, at Freedom Square. Organized by CMSEO-EA in collaboration with the EAC Secretariat and EAC Partner States, this annual event has rotated among the member countries for 23 years. It is the largest EAC trade fair, attracting over 1,500 exhibitors and more than 250,000 visitors. The fair serves as a platform for showcasing and marketing products made by SMEs across the EAC region, while offering valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and business collaboration.

What we seek to achieve.

Objectives of the
Peer-to-Peer Learning Conference.

  • Share knowledge and practical experiences on addressing regulatory issues in the distribution sector in the EAC and other regional markets
  • Share knowledge and practical experiences on measures undertaken to enhance growth and development of the distribution sector in EAC and other markets.
  • Develop an action plan for supporting the growth of a dynamic distribution sector in the EAC
  • At a general level, provide an avenue for a formal launch of the SO2 Component of the EU-EAC CORE programme
