International Customs Day, observed annually on January 26, celebrates the critical role of customs officials and agencies in facilitating secure, efficient international trade. Spearheaded by the World Customs Organization (WCO), this day highlights the essential work customs authorities do in managing cross-border trade, securing supply chains, preventing illegal trade, and generating national revenue. The 2025 theme, “Customs Delivering on its Commitment to Efficiency, Security, and Prosperity,” underscores the sector’s dedication to modernizing trade processes while safeguarding national interests. At EUEAC Core, we joined the global community in recognizing the contributions of customs to economic growth and international cooperation.
